Windows XP,Vista & Windows 7 (32 & 64 bit) OpenVPN Setup Howto

1.Download the installer application & install it.

2.Download the config setup &

3. Extract the files from the zip to your "config" directory.

4. Right click the OpenVPN icon on your desktop and select "connect".

5. Done!

2. Click "Next" and "I agree"

1. Click "Next" and "Install"

1. A box will pop out and ask your permission to install TAP-Win32 adapter.

Click "Continue Anyway" to install Win32.

2. Finish the rest of installation by clicking on "next" and "finish"

1. Go to "Start" > "All programs" > "OpenVPN " > "Shortcuts"

and select "OpenVPN configuration file directory".

1. Download the zip file provided by freestorage and extract the files to "config" directory.

1. Launch Openvpn by double clicking on "OpenVPN GUI" icon located on your desktop.

1. Right click "OpenVPN" icon at taskbar and select "Connect".

1. Green icon indicated you have successfully connected.

Read the activation email to find out your new IP address.

For Windows Vista user, to run OpenVPN as Administator:

Right-click on the OpenVPN icon on desktop > run as administrator.

You’ll see a dialog with a checkbox for "Run as administrator".

From now on, the application will always run as administrator if you use the shortcut to launch it. (You’ll be prompted by UAC if you have it enabled).
